Planning the perfect vacation requires research, communication, attention to detail, and an understanding of what each traveler actually wants from their experience.

This type of travel planning may involve researching family vacations, cruises, all-inclusive resorts, hotels, tours, theme parks, international destinations, romantic escapes, and other leisure travel experiences.

Responsibilities may include discussing vacation goals with travelers, researching destinations and suppliers, comparing available options, preparing travel recommendations, assisting with reservations, communicating itinerary information, keeping client records organized, and providing guidance throughout the planning process.

Previous professional travel experience is not required. Individuals have access to supplier training, travel-industry resources, destination education, booking technology, and ongoing mentorship.
